Kemsylan V171

Vinyltrimethoxysilane
CAS #: 2768-02-7

Features

Kemsylan V171 molecule contains one vinyl functional group and three methoxy functional groups. The vinyl group has high reactivity and can participate in various types of polymerization reactions; while the methoxy functional group can undergo hydrolysis reactions in the presence of water, generating silanol groups, which have strong condensation activity.
Kemsylan V171 and Kemsylan V151 have similar chemical properties, but due to the differences between methoxy and ethoxy groups, there may be slight differences in some properties. Generally, Kemsylan V171 has higher reactivity and may have advantages in certain applications.
