Kemsylan S75

Bis[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]disulfide
CAS #: 56706-10-6

Features

Kemsylan S75 molecule contains sulfur atoms and silane groups. The sulfur atoms react with the sulfur in rubber during vulcanization to form a sulfur cross-linked network, while the silane groups react with the surface of inorganic fillers to form siloxane bonds, firmly bonding the rubber and filler together.

Comparison of S75 and S69
S75 and S69 have slightly different molecular structures, leading to differences in their performance. Compared to S69, S75 has a lower content of active disulfide functional groups, which can provide more reliable scorch safety and reduce the occurrence of sulfur reversion reactions. S75 is more suitable for applications with higher requirements for scorch safety.
